I’m a self-taught documentary film producer who has made a name in the industry for a unique storytelling and production techniques. 

Despite starting my studies in law and not having any formal training or education in film production, I was determined to follow my dreams and learn everything I could about the industry by becoming a partner in my family business, SOLO films.  I also became the Managing Director of DocuDays (Beirut International Documentary Film Festival) for 5 years.

I spent countless hours watching documentaries and reading books about the technical aspects of filmmaking. 

Beside theoretical knowledge, I took various roles in the film industry: assistant on sets, production manager and producer for documentaries, corporate films, short films and TV commercials. 

I participated in numerous workshops and networking events where I acquired valuable skills, met other filmmakers and gained insights on the film industry. 

A particular highlight was my participation at Docmed, with my film “Asphalt” in a yearlong training program on creative documentaries for Arab producers.

These skills and experiences allowed me to give mentor classes at the Institute for Media Training and Research at LAU (Lebanese American University), where I trained Iraqi journalists on funding strategies for independent documentaries in the Arab world.

All of this hard work and dedication paid off when I started producing  my own documentaries, exploring social issues and uncovering untold stories. My work has been recognized by film festivals and media outlets around the world, and has won several awards. 

In time, I was able to work on larger projects, collaborating with established filmmakers and organizations that shared my vision for creating powerful and impactful storytelling. 

I was selected as a jury member at the Tampere International Short Film Festival in Finland and the Tehran International Short Film Festival. 

Currently, I continue to produce documentaries that strive to make a difference in the world, as well as providing production services for international production companies and TV stations.

After gaining technical knowledge in production, and acquiring my own equipment, I now provide filming and editing services for clients on selected projects.

I produce and make films of any format and lengths.

I have worked for over 20 years learning the craft of film production, both on my own and through working alongside renowned international filmmakers. I have participated in workshops for independent Arab film producers under the tutelage of well regarded mentors. These experiences have inspired me to produce independent films with causes that are close to my heart. I strongly feel that their unique subject matter can touch others and raise knowledge and awareness for important issues. 

As a filmmaker, I create films for fundraising, awareness and promotional purpose mostly with a documentary twist.

I believe that creating films is a necessary communication tools that can create engagement and inform opinion.
